Dear Falcon Families,
Thank you for your support and extra efforts in working with us to try and keep our school open. The health and safety of our students, staff, families, and community continue to be a priority for Friend School. School procedures and operations are based on the current COVID conditions, understanding that this is a moving target with numbers always changing. We are very grateful for your support and patience as we continue to plan and work toward having safeguards in place to try and protect everyone.
As our plan continues to be a work in progress we continue to stay current on the latest information from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, the Center of Disease Control, The World Health Organization, and our local health organizations in Grady County. On January 6th, 2022 the Center of Disease Control (CDC) updated their guidelines based on the most current medical data.
Friend School will continue to follow the best practices recommended by the CDC for isolations for positive COVID cases, and quarantines when there has been an exposure to a
positive case.
